Aleksandr Vonchev Manpower Director
Aleksandr Vonchev, the Manpower Director of THALPIS CRS is an experienced maritime professional specializing in crew management, technical supervision, and ship engineering. He oversees the crew management division, ensuring compliance with internal policies, maintaining financial responsibility, and facilitating effective communication with shipowners and managers. Previously, he served as Chief Engineer at JAD Construction, where he provided technical management and support for offshore units in the oil and gas sector.
With a background that includes roles as Chief Engineer across various maritime companies, Oleksandr has extensive experience in engine room operations, equipment maintenance, and crew supervision. His career began with Mitsui OSK Line, one of the world’s largest shipping companies, where he progressed from Cadet to Second Engineer.
Aleksandr holds a master’s degree in Marine Engineering from Odessa National Maritime Academy.
Paris Andrianopoulos Managing Director
Paris Andrianopoulos is an economist and maritime expert with over two decades of experience in ship management. After studying Economics at the University of Athens in Greece, he began his career in 2003 at a traditional Greek ship management company. He is renowned for developing advanced crew management practices and preventive HSQE inspection protocols, with a particular focus on improving operational efficiency and optimizing OPEX.
In 2019, Paris took on the role of Director of the Greek office for ECM Maritime Services, a position he held until 2023, when ECM merged with Gallagher Marine Systems. Concurrently, he was appointed Managing Director at THALPIS CRS, a role he continues to hold today. Under his leadership, THALPIS CRS transformed into a multinational crewing company with a significant presence in key seafaring countries.
Paris holds an MBA from the University of Cumbria in the UK.
